I am a PhD Researcher in Transnational Governance at Scuola Normale Superiore and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Florence. My research integrates a decade of practitioner experience in agrarian and rural development with academic expertise in International Political Economy and environmental policy. Previously, I served as State Coordinator for Brazil’s National Land Credit Program (PNCF) and as an analyst for the São Paulo Land Institute (ITESP).
My doctoral research examines the roles of state and non-state actors in steering Brazilian environmental policies and the broader dynamics of transnational climate change governance. My research interests include political ecology, critical political economy, and global environmental politics. I hold a Master’s in International Relations from the San Tiago Dantas program (UNESP/UNICAMP/PUC-SP) and a Bachelor’s from São Paulo State University (UNESP).
Recently, I have expanded my international profile through the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), serving as a Managing Global Governance Fellow (2022) and a Visiting Guest PhD Researcher (2025).
I’m excited to share that I will be joining the Institute for Political Science at the University of Münster as a Visiting PhD Researcher for the next six months! I’m looking forward to collaborating with colleagues and advancing my research in this vibrant academic environment
